Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. When I first met Joe he was not thrilled we painters had invaded his domain. Always ready to help, but when it was time for us to leave, it was TIME! Then as time went on and I kept showing up on his doorstep he decided he was not getting rid of me. That was when the real fun started! His comment always your back??? Yes Joe I came to just pester you. Painting of course the sideline. Joe didn’t like to admit it, but he loved us and we him. Thanks Joe for keeping us after class in the basement because of a tornado, helping and sharing. You will be missed. My heart is sad because I am left here. Joe I know God has you now, I will look forward when the time comes for you to say… your here! Yep just to pester you. Love

  2. Rest Joseph, until you hear at dawn, the low, clear reveille of God. Thank you for your service to this nation.

  3. I first met Joe and Kay when I started working at The Bob Foley Co. in 1972. We became good friends and worked together until I left the company in 2008. After that we still had many dinners and when he and Kay were traveling through the Kansas City area on one of her portrait seminar trips. I must say I don’t think I’ve ever met a man with higher integrity and a true passion to help people. I know he deeply loved Kay and his entire family and has left a lasting impression on them of the importance of always being willing to serve others ahead of yourselves and those memories will stay with them for the rest of their lives. Kay, Shelley and family, rest assured you will be reunited with him some day on “His” side of glory. I consider it a true honor to be allowed to attend his memorial service and for how he has touched my life. Best wishes as you move forward and for each new “FIRST” you will be experiencing as each day comes. John Foley
