Timberlake, Joseph W., 70, hospital laboratory consultant, passed away Monday, October 25, 2010. A private family service will be held at a later time. Survivors: daughter, Daphne Timberlake and granddaughter, McKenna, both of KC, MO and sister, Sharon Forgue and niece, Shannon Timberlake, both of Grain Valley, MO. Downing Lahey East Mortuary.

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Joe in Topeka in the 70’s and appreciated his dedication to the profession. I will miss visiting with him at laboratory meetings. I still have the verses he wrote down for me of a lovely song he wrote, and a group of us sang it while he played the guitar at a friend’s house one time. We considered him our friend.
Dr. Timberlake was a dear friend to me. He taught me a lot about the laboratory business of which he had a Great knowledge.
