Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
Dear Mike, Vicki, and Bob, I was saddened to hear about aunt jo. This has been one hell of a year. No doubt my mom was there waiting for her to show her her around. I will be thinking of you all as we try to get through this christmas season without our moms.
I was sorry to read of your mother’s passing in today’s paper. You may not remember me, but I worked for/with your mom & dad (& Woody) for several years while I was in college, and during the summers (early 1970’s). They all treated me like family, and it was a great place to work! Your mom seemed to be the calming force in the office, and was a dear and gentle soul! One of my favorite memories of your mom was watching her knit a beautiful afghan for a church raffle — it was fun watching the progress she’d make every day. She finished it in time for the weekend raffle, but she brought it back to the Office on the Monday following the raffle. When I asked her why she hadn’t given it away, she informed me that I HAD WON IT!!! and she was delivering it to me! I have used it often, and still use it to this day, thinking of Jo Brown whenever I do! The world was a better place for her having been here. My condolences to all of you in our loss.
Dear Mike, Vicki, and Bob. I am truly sad about your mom’s passing. She was an incredible woman – tremendously independent yet supportive and loving. She has joined all of the great ones in our family who have gone before her. I pray for your strength as you go through this Christmas season and the future days without your mom physically on earth. However, her spirit will surround you in all that you do. Love, Pam, Brad, and Colleen
