  2. Phil, Charlene, and Jessie, I was so saddened to learn of Josh’s passing. I will always remember Josh as big brother to Jessie and eventhough Jessie and I gave him a hard time when we were younger he took it in stride. My prayers are with your family and hope you find peace in all the memories you had with him.

  3. I attended school with Josh as part of the class of ’93. We shared many classes together, and I recall that we often helped each other to complete our math homework. His smile, friendly demeanor, and frequent jokes made him many friends. I ran into Josh at the hardware store a few years ago while I was visiting my family. We talked for awhile about our lives and our kids. He was truly proud to be a husband and a new father. I offer my sincerest condolences to the family. Josh’s passing represents a great loss to all who have known him and who have had the pleasure of calling him friend or family.

  4. Speaking as one of his old teachers, he was a wonderful young man and had so much promise. My heart goes out to all his family. Please know there are many who care and are very saddened to hear about Josh’s passing. Sincerely, Judy Humburg Dutra

  5. Their were many things to admire about Josh. He was a good hearted, smart and creative guy. My condolences to his family. Jesse you are in my thoughts.

  6. Please accept my deepest sympathies. Although it has been years since I saw Josh, I remember his as being very noble and an amazing big brother to Jessie (he tried his best to keep us out of trouble!). Hugs and love from Melissa (Long) Loe, Tyson & Judson

  7. We are so sorry to hear of the loss of our beloved Joshua. It seems so unfair that death should have the power to take away someone you love. And when it happens, the thought of never again being able to talk to, laugh with, or hold your loved one can be most difficult to bear. I would like to share with you a scripture found in John5:21,28,29 which says : ‘Just as the Father raises the dead up and makes them alive, so the Son also makes those alive whom he wants to. Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his [Jesus] voice and come out. This is a promise from Gods word the bible that we will soon see our loved ones again. Untill then may prayer and the memories that you have together bring you comfort.

  8. Phil and family, I was greatly saddened to read in the Eagle today of your loss. Although I didn’t know Josh, I know from working with Phil many years ago how much you loved him, and all of your family. My heart and prayers go out to all of you.

  9. Jessie and family, I’m so sorry that you lost such a wonderful man and I’m very glad that I had the pleasure of knowing him even though it was just a few meetings. I’m glad Gracie got to know her Daddy and I’m sure she knows he’s with God now.

  10. I had the privilege and opportunity to work with Josh relative to the Gordon Parks Collection at Wichita State University. He did great work in this regard and I greatly appreciated his enthusiasm for this important project. My deepest sympathies to the family.

  11. We will miss you SO very much, Josh. Our hearts are breaking for you & your dear family. We love you… Gwen, Scott, Cal, Claire & Lola Hartley
