Joyce Hart, 96, died, Tuesday, November 26, 2019. Visitation, 9:00-10:00 a.m.; Memorial Service, 10:00 a.m., both Monday, December 2, at Goddard United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m., in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Kingman, KS. Preceded by parents, Oscar and Idella Reece; brothers, Francis Reece, Vestal Reece; sister, Violet Townsend; husband, Don Hart; grandchild, Andrea Nottingham. Survivors; children, Marilyn Belcher, Jim (Patty) Hart; grandchildren, Jennifer (Jarrod) Bartlett, Michelle (Jay) Smajda, Nate (Jodi) Hart; great-grandchildren, Josh and Caleb Seagraves, Aidan and Ellie Smajda, Braden, Logan and Elina Bartlett, Naomi, Stella and Ava Hart; great-great-grandchildren, Hayden Alvis, Joyce Seagraves. In memory of Joyce Hart, Sarah Hart lit a candle
Love and condolences to all. We loved her so much. She was a great historian of our family. We loved taking her down to Medicine Lodge to see her brother Francis’s (my father’s) grave whenever we were able to get back to Kansas. She was great company and we have a hard time imagining life without her. Love to all Janice Reece Krueger.
Sending my deepest condolences for Marilyn and Jim in the loss of your Mom. What a wonderful life she lived. And I’m so thankful to have been able to see her in the last couple of months. She was a very special lady. Now she’ll be spending Christmas with my Mom, who I lost 14 years ago today Dec. 3rd. And with her husband Don and the rest of the family. My prayers go with you as you celebrate her life. <3 <3
