Mortinger, Joyce, 80, Retired Bookkeeper, died Friday, March 6, 2015. Memorial Service will be at 11:00 A.M., Monday, March 9, 2015, at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Preceded in death by her parents, Winfield and Marion Mitchell; four brothers and two sisters. Survived by her husband, James S. Mortinger of Derby, previously of Liberal, KS; children, Yvonne Ford (Tom) of Galveston, TX, Vicky Hiebsch (Rick) of Andover, Randy Stark (Kathy) of Mulvane, Jimmy Mortinger (Laurie) of Hays, KS, John Mortinger (Betty) of Port Huron, MI, Robin Mortinger (Susan) of Casco, MI, Joe Mortinger (Karen) of Rose Hill; brother, Dain Mitchell of Toldeo, WA; 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with the Alzheimers Association, Central Western Kansas Chapter, 1820 E. Douglas Ave., Wichita, KS 67214; and Rivercross Hospice, 251 S. Whittier St., Wichita, KS 67207.
