Joyce Tarrant Oswald

Oswald, Joyce Tarrant, 86, retired Municipal Court Docket Clerk at the City of Wichita, passed away while surrounded by her family on Monday, October 3, 201l. Joyce was born in Wichita, Kansas, November 8, 1924, and resided there her entire life. She was preceded in death by first husband, John Tarrant, and second husband, Charles Oswald; daughters, Jeanne Lamm Stuart and Jackie See; stepson, Ronnie Oswald, and step-grandson, Kevin Oswald. She is survived by sons, Johnny Tarrant (Susie) of Wichita, Jim Tarrant (Kerrie) of Newbury Park, CA; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be held 5-7 p.m., Thursday, October 6 at Downing Lahey Mortuary West. Service will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, October 7 at Westside Church of the Nazarene, 2300 S. Seneca. A memorial has been established with American Diabetes Association, 608 W. Douglas, Suite 100, Wichita, KS 67203.
