Jones, Joye Ruth, 83, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 3, 2007. Service 10:00 A.M., Monday, March 5, Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Interment 2:00 P.M., Monday, Matfield Green Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Chester W. “Red” Jones. She is survived by son, Stephen Jones (Raenna) of Emporia, KS; daughter, Sheila Floodman McAllister (Dennis) of Wichita and grandchildren, Angela Eckstein (Craig), Anthony Jones, Adri Jones-McMeekin (Ryan), Kathleen Jones, Amanda Jones, Michael Banks Floodman, Blake Floodman and Paige Floodman. She returned to college when her daughter was school age and graduated from Wichita University with honors. She was a strong supporter of her husband, children and grandchildren; significantly influencing their lives. She will be greatly missed.
Interment 2:00 P.M., Monday, Matfield Green Cemetery.
