Joyrene V Kitsmiller, 89, Homemaker, died Thursday, September 24, 2020. Preceded in death by her parents, Allan O. and Pauline Lindwall; and husband of 70 years, D.L. "Kits" Kitsmiller. Survived by her daughter, Susan Kitsmiller O'Leary of Wichita, KS; two grandchildren, Shannon Brines of Belle Plaine, KS, Tawnya (Russell) Wittman of Sedalia, MO; brother, Allan B (Jan) Lindwall of Hutchinson, KS; great-grandson, Colton Brines; and two nephews, Aaron (Ella) Lindwall, Clayton (Becky) Lindwall. Our deepest condolences for you loss. I have fond memories of taking fishing trips with Joy & Kits (I can not remember ever referring to them in the singular, always Joy and Kits). Kits and I would fish, Joy would come by and cheer us on. I always looked forward to being invited to eat with them in Wichita. I remember Joy as a great cook. But it is Joy’s laugh I will miss the most. She was easily tickled and her laugh was the best. Knowing they are together again as Joy & Kits puts a smile on our faces.
