Judith Umscheid, 84, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend passed away Thursday, August 7, 2025.
Rosary will be at 7:00 pm, Tuesday, August 12, 2025; Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am, Wednesday, August 13, 2025, both at Church of the Magdalen Catholic Church.
She was born March 7, 1941 in Akron, Ohio and preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Virginia Klett and brother, James Klett of Stow, Ohio.
Judith was united in marriage for over 62 years to her beloved husband, Isidore Umscheid Jr. of Wichita, KS. She is survived by her husband and their five children: sons, Greg (Jo) Umscheid of Topeka, KS, Jeff (Paula) Umscheid of Parksville, MO, Brad Umscheid of Andover, KS; daughters, Susan (Stewart) Williams of Spicewood, TX, Stacie (Mike) Rediger of Wichita, KS; 10 grandchildren, Tim (Elizabeth), Justine (Kyle), Josh (Maura), Jake (Kim), Joe (Taylor), Austin (Halie), Quinn (Ariana), Brock (Chelsea), Ashley and Grant; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Judith was incredibly proud of her family, always caring and available to help everyone. Her thoughtful dedication to family, friends and those in need was a reflection of her faith in God. Her hobbies and passion included family activities, pets, gardening, sewing, scrapbooking, quilting and church activities. She is forever loved by her family and friends.
