Judy (Smith) Rudrow

Judy (Smith) Rudrow, 81, retired Real Estate Broker and lifetime resident of Wichita, died Thursday, August 12, 2021. A graveside service was Judy's request and will be at 10:30 am, Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Alma Smith. Survived by her daughter, Sheila (Brad) Anders; grandson, Austin Anders; niece, Kathy (Rudrow) Radabaugh; nephew, Rick Rudrow; and cousins she loved very much. She enjoyed traveling and visiting fifteen countries, attending Wichita Symphony and Music Theatre, and Wichita State Shocker basketball. The many blessings that she valued and treasured most in her life were her family and friends. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Mary and Denise at Good Shepherd Hospice for their care of Judy. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with: St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105; Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. As a sophomore, I enjoyed making new friends and Judy was one of my first. Her smile, warmth and laugh drew me — and others — to her. Always an impeccable dresser, I remember that she was the first to invite me into her home after one of the ball games. I still think of her when I pass her family home in Riverside.
