Julia Ann Hall, 85, Retired Insurance Underwriter and mother of 6 children, died Tuesday, May 28, 2019. Julia was a military wife who virtually raised 6 successful children on her own, on military pay. She was a beautiful woman, loved by all who knew her. She taught her children how to celebrate life and how to walk through any challenges they may have had to face. She was wise beyond her limited education and taught herself how to advance in this crazy world of ours. She had a beautiful, refreshing sense of humor that helped get her through life’s tough times. She was mentor, loving teacher, and wonderful counselor to her children, who in turn, had the utmost respect for her. The honor that God requests all of us to have for their parents, they had. She was surrounded by a love AS BIG AS THE SKY, times 6. Her children are so very thankful to have had this amazing woman in their lives. Private family services will follow. Julia is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Lena Louise Quattlebaum; husband, Felton Emil Hall; son, Felton E Hall, Jr.; and grandson, Byron Anthony Doucet, Jr.  Survived by her daughters, Sharon (Jack Bramblett) Bramblett of Grand Prairie, TX,  Carol (Todd Parker) Parker of Wichita,  June (Kennith Keene) Keene of Dickinson, TX, Barbara Doucet of Wichita; son, Jerry (Janis Hall) Hall of Frisco, TX; grandsons, Jerry Hall, Jonathan Hall, Chad Norman, Sean Hoag, Ryan Keene; granddaughters, Schannen Martinez, Regina Hernandez, Breanna Doucet; 11 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with: Harry Hynes Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202. Downing & Lahey Mortuary - East Chapel.

  1. Coming up on 3 years. The grief is not as strong, but the missing you is always there. I miss going to see you. I miss your hugs, your smiles. So much has changed in this world and not necessarily for the good. We are so thankful that you did not have to see any of this COVID stuff.
