  1. JUNE WAS A VERY SPECIAL PERSON TO ME.AT ONE TIME SHE WAS MY BOSS, BUT ALSO MY FRIEND. SHE WAS ALWAYS THE FIRST TO HELP SOMEBODY. EVERY TIME I HAD SURGERY OR SOMEBODY DIED IN MY FAMILY SHE AND HER DAUGHTER FIX FOOD AND BROUGHT OVER. JUNE BOUGHT THE SHOP WHERE I WAS WORKING WHEN MY SON WAS 4 MONTHS OLD, HE IS NOW 37, SO YOU CAN SEE THAT SHE WAS MY FRIEND FOR MANY YEARS. JUNE NEVER COMPLAINED, SHE HAD ALLOT OF TRAGEDY IN HER LIFE, EVEN WHEN SHE WAS IN ALLOT OF PAIN, I WOULD ASK HER HOW SHE WAS DOING AND SHE WOULD SAY OK, AND I WOULD SAY TO HER I KNOW YOU ARE NOT, BUT JUNE WAS NOT A DOWNER SHE WAS ALWAYS UP. JUNE DIED ON THE SAME DAY AS MY BEST FRIEND BETTY, BETTY WORKED FOR JUNE SO THEY WERE FRIENDS. IT IS SO UNREAL THAT I WOULD HAVE TWO SPECIAL FRIENDS DIED ON THE SAME DAY, BUT AT LEAST THEY CAN BE UP IN HEAVEN TOGETHER, I CAN JUST HEAR THEM SAYING, WHEN IS PENNIE GOING TO RETIRE FROM DOING HAIR, WILL LADIES I’M GOING TO TRY AND FINISH MY OLDER CUSTOMERS. THAN I WILL GO. JUNE I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU, I HAVE ALLOT OF YOUR RECIPE’S AND I USE THEM OFTEN. YOUR FRIEND PENNIE

  2. To the family of June Thomas: What a beautiful lady she was. I am so blessed to have known her and had the wonderful opportunity to be able to care for her. I always told June that she was therapy visit because she always made me feel better. I will always remember her and I will miss seeing her. I know she loved her family especially her grandchildren she talked about you all and I can tell was very proud of each and every one of you! Lianne you did such a wonderful job with all your love, time & devotion to your mom especially in the last year. Even though she had her moments she loved and appreciated you for everything you did. She was always the mom and worried about your well being above her own. June never wanted to complain about how bad she was hurting. She never wanted to give up. Even though I had a break in her care I am so blessed that I was able to be there for her so close to the end. My thoughts and prayers are with you all…….she will be missed but she has left a wonderful legacy behind in her family.
