Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Fair winds and following seas sailor. “Boatswain… Standby to pipe the side… Shipmate’s going Ashore…” Thank you Justin for your service to this nation. U.S. Navy.

  2. My sincere condolences to your family. What a pain such a loss causes in our hearts. I pray for comfort for all of you, and that family memories of Justin bring your dear family even closer together in a special way.

  3. Justin was an incredible person – smart, funny and extraordinarily hard working. He served with me on the aircraft carrier USS JOHN C STENNIS where I was the Reactor Officer and he was the Sailor in charge of chemistry. I trusted Justin to take care of an area of responsibility that was key to the safety of the reactors with little to no oversight. Beyond his technical strength, Justin was just an email dceptional shipmate and human being to those he served with. He treated everyone as an individual and valued person. That’s not easy to do when you have a clear rank structure and you get super busy and stressed. Of the thousands of sailors I’ve worked with, Justin is a in special category of folks with a balanced mix talent, work ethic, compassion, humor and leadership. I’m saddened by his passing and send my prayers and sympathy to his entire family. He is gone but not forgotten by his Navy friends and shipmate with whom he served so very well. Rest easy Justin – we have the watch, Captain T. J. Zerr, US Navy

  4. I, Janet, had Justin in my class at the high school. Justin was a personable, respectful and brilliant young man! Jim and I mourn, with the family, the passing of Justin, a life ending too soon. May God hold you close at this time. Jim and Janet Decker
