Kaitlin Whelan
Kaitlin Whelan, 30, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2019. Celebration of Life Service, 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 7, 2019, at Downing & Lahey Mortuary West. Kaitlin is survived by parents, Janice (Cox) and John Whelan; sister, Kelsey (Josh Curtis) Whelan; grandmother, Mary Whelan, as well as a loving extended family and many friends. Kaitlin was a graduate of Wichita State. She was an impressive photographer with multiple publications. She was full of personality and life. She sparked and shared inspiration, motivation, energy and love into so many lives. Her love of Bernie is well known as well as her love of the New York Yankees and the New York Giants. Kaitlin will be greatly missed by so many.

Kelsey and Family, I am so sorry for your loss. Kaitlin was absolutely fantastic but you knew this. I really got to know her well this summer although I have known her the better part of 10 years. I will miss her. She was great. Her smile was contagious. A little piece of Kaitlin will live on in so many people! We are all better for knowing her. Thank you for sharing her with the world.
