Karen Puetz

BENTON - Karen Sue Puetz passed away August 16th, 2017 at her home in Benton KS. at the age of 55. Karen is survived by her parents, Phil and Adele Pulliam of Wichita, KS; her husband, Tom; her daughter, Shelby of Kansas City, MO and sons Chase and Chad of Benton; her brother Mark Pulliam of Wichita and her sister Cheryl McGinnis of New York, NY. Karen was born June 5th, 1962 in Wichita. She graduated from Wichita State University in 1985 where she exceled both athletically and academically. Karen and her husband Tom had been together for 33 years. They opened their successful business, Central Ag Wheel and Tire, over 20 years ago. Their sons Chase and Chad have since followed them into the family business. Karen is remembered by her family and friends as a loving mother, a faithful wife, a cherished sister, and a dedicated businesswoman. Her wry sense of humor and her love of creativity and self-expression were beloved by all who knew her, especially her husband and children. Her love of horticulture and passion for various forms of art were defining characteristics that she treasured sharing with her family. Karens smile and her laugh were received with great affection and will be greatly missed. A reception to honor Karens memory will be held August 26th at the Benton Banquet Hall, located at 14399 SW 20th St. Benton, KS 67017 at 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
