McPhail, Karyn Jayne, 44, born April 11, 1965, loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, went to be with Jesus unexpectedly on Sunday, September 20, 2009. Private memorial services will be held at University Friends Church in Wichita. Karyn is survived by her husband, David, daughters, Whitney and Austyn and her mother, Roberta Babb, all of Wichita, sister, Amy Babb Grace and niece, Sara of League City, TX, brother, Dr. John Babb and family of Maize, KS and grandfather, Robert Young of Hutchinson, KS. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Karyn McPhail College Memorial Fund for her two daughters,c/o Bank of the West, 2123 N. Maize Rd., Wichita, 67212. Downing Lahey Mortuary East.
Private memorial services will be held at University Friends Church in Wichita.

John, Please accept my deepest sympathy on the passing of your sister. Although no words can really help to ease the loss you’ve experienced, just know that you and your family, your mom and your sisters’ families are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dave, I was shocked when I found out about Karyn. I am praying for you and the girls and for the repose of the soul of Karyn. Our Lord will be with you through all of this.
