Kathleen Ann (Klaus) Tucker

Tucker, Kathleen Ann (Klaus), 85, died Thursday, November 13, 2008. Rosary 7:00 P.M., Monday, November 17, and Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, November 18, both at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Kathleen was born and raised in Wichita and graduated from Blessed Sacrament School and Mount Carmel Academy. She married in 1944. A homemaker, she also worked for many years in the administration offices of St. Thomas Aquinas School and Kapaun Mt. Carmel High School, retiring in 1984. Preceded in death by husband, G. Truman Tucker, parents, William C. and Ellen G. (Loshbough) Klaus and brothers, Paul and Romuald Klaus. Survivors: daughters, Geraldine A. (Gary) Padgett of Farmerville, LA and Regina E. Tucker of Wichita; sons, Gregory T. Tucker and Thomas A. (Marcia) Tucker, all of Wichita; grandchildren, Michelle R. (Tim) Berry, Kimberly C. (Jesse) Valderas, J. Drew (Nikki) Padgett, Meghan L. Tucker and Matthew S. Tucker; 4 great-grandchildren, 15 nieces and nephews. Memorials have been established with St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1321 Stratford Lane, Wichita, KS 67206 and Sisters of Charity, BVM, Retirement Fund, 1100 Carmel Drive, Dubuque, IA 52003.
