Kathleen McCorgary, 86, Retired USD 259 Secretary, passed away, Friday, August 18, 2023.Rosary will be at 6:00pm, Thursday, August 24, 2023, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00am, Friday, August 25, 2023, at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Final Resting Place at Calvary Cemetery, Wichita, KS.Preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Raymond McCorgary, Sr; parents, Robert and Lorene Cleary; sister, Barbara Steen (Dale); brother, Danny Cleary (Francine); great-great-grandson, Liam Wallace. Survived by her sister, Mary Caruso (David, Sr.); brother, Robert Cleary (Linda), both of Wichita, KS; daughters, Mary McCorgary of Rockwall, TX, Karen Cash (Bruce) of Mesquite, TX; sons, Raymond McCorgary, Jr, James McCorgary, both of Lake of the Ozarks, MO, Robert McCorgary of Mesquite, TX; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.She was the most selfless person, demonstrating kindness to everyone that she met. She was a beloved mother and devoted sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, aunt, and friend, deeply touching the lives of those fortunate enough to have known her.Though our hearts are heavy with grief, let us remember the joy and love that she brought into our lives. May her legacy be a reminder to cherish our loved ones and to live each day with kindness and grace.Rest in Peace Dear Mother and Grandma.
