Bollinger, Kathryn, 98, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 25 in Monroe, LA surrounded by her family. Rosary is at 9:30, Friday, June 1, with Funeral Mass following at 10:00 a.m., both at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Wichita, KS. Kathryn spent most of her life in Kansas where she and her husband raised three children. While in Kansas, Kathryn was active in the St Francis Hospital Auxiliary, Town Talks, Project Beauty, St Francis Hospital Pink Ladies organization and the St Thomas Aquinas Altar Society. She resided in Wichita for many years. In her later years she moved to Monroe, LA to be closer to her daughter. Kathryn is survived by her children; Sharon (Dan) Ross of Monroe, LA; Nancy (Harold) Lacy of Golden, CO; and Michael (Pam) Bollinger of Olathe, KS; six grandchildren; Danny Ross, Jason Ross, Kirsten Braley, Kimberly (John) Bronhard, Kevin Bollinger, and Brian (Sarah) Bollinger, along with three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three nieces, Mary (Tony) Morgan, Colleen Fennessey, and Judy (Rich) Myers all of Ottawa, IL. Donations may be made in her name to The St. Katherine Drexel Catholic School Fund c/o Catholic Diocese of Wichita, 424 N. Broadway, Wichita, KS, 67202. This fund helps struggling Catholic parishes fund Catholic Education. Her family would like to thank her 3 faithful caregivers, Joyce Winston, Grace Walker and Michele Taylor.
