Kathy was such an inspiration to me. I am going to miss her very much. No matter the pain, she prayed with me and had a smile for everything. Love you Kathy
I got to know Don and Kathy back in 1999 when I started attending West Side Christian. Throughout the years, Kathy went through a long battle with MS but she cared about others including my mother during her illness and death. Her passion for others despite all she was dealing with is something I will always remember.
What can I say about this amazing woman! She never let her battle with MS keep her from enjoying life with family and friends. She loved deeply and shared her faith in Jesus with all she met and knew! Rest easy while walking on those golden streets Kathy!!
My friend and sister in Christ, what a journey you have had. Never giving up your faith and hope through the storms of life. Your love and light were always available to so many. I will remember you every time that song “Let me tell you about my Jesus” comes on because you discipled and prayed for many. Prayers for the Lenhart family for comfort and peace, she sure loved ya…..
I remember Kathy as a Proverbs 31 woman. We attended Westside Christian Church in Wichita during the late 1980’s. It was so fun to run into my classmate from Goddard, Don, and to realize he had married such a kind, loving person as Kathy.
I also remember a small wooden spool necklace that Kathy gave me as a present. It was one of her family heirlooms from the past. It was a treasure and it was fun to have someone who loved those vintage items like me.
I rejoice that she is now completely whole with her Lord and Savior!
our love and prayers to the family,
Karen and Paul Holliday
