Jones, Kay B., 63, died Wednesday, January 18, 2012. Memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 24, at the McConnell Air Force Base Chapel, McConnell, KS. Survivors: son, Kyle Davis (Leah) of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Erika Davis and Kylia Davis, both of Shelby, NC. A memorial has been established with the Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, KS, 67219. Downing Lahey Mortuary East.

For Kay’s Family. I worked at McConnell and knew Kay, and I presently chair the McConnell Civilian Retirees yearly get together. I sent a notice to the retirees about Kay’s passing and the following is just one of the responses I received: ‘Kay did my inprocessing when I came to McConnell and she was such a sweet gal.’
I’m so sorry for the sudden loss of Kay. I was a civil servant and at McConnell for 17 years and we had a number of laughs. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
