Keith McMahan

Keith McMahan, 59, passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 in Wichita, KS surrounded by his family. He was born on December 10, 1957 in Hopkinsville, KY to Jim and Kathryn McMahan. Keith moved with his family to Cheney, KS in 1975 when his family bought Frontier Ford car dealership there. Keith owned and operated McMahan Motor Co in Cheney for ten years. He eventually sold McMahan Motors and went to work in management at Lubbers where hes worked until his death. In 2015, he was a double lung transplant recipient due to Pulmonary Fibrosis. Keith has always had a zest for life being heavily involved in his community and family activities. His favorite things in life were boating with his family, watching his grandsons play sports, and cheering on the Kansas City Royals and Shocker mens basketball team. He was a stranger to no one and was willing to do anything for anybody. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, friend and family member who will be sorely missed. Keith was preceded in death by his mother, Kathryn (Love) McMahan and older brother James Hoyt McMahan. Survived by his wife, Judy (Raple) McMahan; children, Aaron (Linda) Seiler and Anne Marie Seiler, both of Wichita; grandchildren, Alexander Seiler and Preston Seiler both of Wichita; father, James H McMahan of Cheney, KS; brothers, Steve (Roslyn) McMahan of Nashville, TN and Mark (Sally) McMahan of Novi, MI; nephews, Christopher McMahan and Jonathon McMahan; nieces, Brooke McMahan and Kerri McMahan. Rosary on Sunday, October 15, 2017, at 6 PM. Funeral Mass on Monday, October 16, 2017, at 10 AM both at St Jude Catholic Church. Burial at St Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery 318 Rush Ave, Andale, KS.
