So sorry to hear of his passing. Prayers for peace and comfort to the family.
Doris, Sister Pat, Terri and Emily, We were so sorry to hear of Kenneys passing. I know how much you will all miss him and my heart goes out to you all. My most vivid memory of Kenny, of course, there were many but was when we were all in your basement watching the Beatles debut on the Ed Sullivan show. I dont remember all of his and Dads comments but they didnt understand why their hair had to be that long. He was a good man, husband and father and we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers and sending big hugs.
Kenny was one of the best neighbors we have had over the years. He was always cheerful, always full of great stories, but most of all truly concerned about each and everyone on the block. He and Doris were a great addition to our block. He will be sorely missed – but I have no doubt is rejoicing in his new freedom with his Lord.
Terri, Patty, Emily: Your dad was really a wonderful man who knew what he was about in this world. Doris, He always had great pride in his wife and daughters, and no doubt his grands and extended family felt this, too. I cherish the memories but also thinking of all of you. He is sleeping in peace now, with his Lord. We pray for your peace, too.
Our thoughts and prayers to the Owens family during their time of loss. Kenny was a great man who will be missed by many.
Doris and family: I am so sorry for your loss of Kenny. We met him and Doris after we moved here from St. Paul. He was such a happy guy and we enjoyed being around him.
After My Ken passed away we didnt see him very often. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I will be unable to attend his service as I will be out of town.
Dear Doris, Patty, Terri, Emily and families,
Gabriele and I extend our heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathy. I have known Kenny since I can remember. He helped my mom and Dad move to Colorado Springs when I was 4 years old, and my family always shared lots of laughs when we would travel to Wichita or Kenny and Doris would travel to Colorado Springs. I remember one time when Kenny, my father and I were fishing for trout at Antero reservoir. Kenny has his line tangled and my father said, ‘Kyle, straighten out Mr. Owens line, ‘ while he continued fishing. Kenny felt sorry for me and we had a good laugh about it later. He touched many lives and will be remembered fondly.
Please accept my sincere condolences on your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all in this time of grief.
Rest Kenneth, until you hear at dawn,
the low, clear reveille of God.
Thank you for your service to this nation.
Thank you Kenny for your warm expressions of friendship, always admired your love for your family and the ways you cherished the people around you. Know of my prayers for you Doris and for your family. Peace and love.
