After serving as 1st Lieutenant in the Army during the Korean War, Ken, Pat, and their new baby moved to Wichita, where he worked at Eagle Engravers then Associated Advertising Agency for 40 years, eventually presiding as Executive Art Director and Vice-President. In his 60’s, he studied computer design and advanced with technology. Ken’s art talents developed into a hobby as he painted watercolors, oils, and pastels, often giving them away as gifts along with handmade birthday, Christmas, and greeting cards for family and friends. Ken's mother had fostered her children's musicality which led Ken to play Cornet at Harrison Elementary, Cushing High School Marching Band, and during college in the University of Oklahoma Marching Band (as a big OU fan). Ken directed church choirs and congregational singing, sang solos, and loved singing hymns with family. Ken grew up attending First Baptist, Cushing, OK, was a charter member of Southwest Baptist, Wichita, KS, taught Sunday School at Olivet Baptist and Pathway, and attended Country Acres Baptist his last years. Ken and the love of his life, Pat, loved people and kept their doors open for hospitality and entertainment with delicious meals. Ken was an avid golfer, playing regularly and participating in a local Golf Fellowship group. Most of all, Ken was a lover of Jesus Christ, His Savior and Lord, with whom he now resides forever. He was preceded in death by his parents, J. Ralph and Alice Marie Endicott; siblings, Jay, Warren, Ruben "Castle", Kathleen "Kitty" Pogue, and twin brother, Raymond. Survivors: Loving wife of 70 years, Patricia; daughter, Sherri Lyn (Keith) Hayden of Wichita; son, Gary (Belinda) Endicott of West Palm Beach, FL; grandchildren, Lydia Hayden, Caleb (Lauren) Hayden, Joshua (Gayathri) Hayden, Susanna Hayden, and Nathan Hayden all of Wichita, Megan (Derek) Simpson of West Palm Beach, FL, Erin (Jeremy) Allen of Olathe, KS; 14 great-grandchildren; special family friends, Jeremy (Amy) Helm and 3 sons of Wichita; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
