Kenneth L. Kenny Garrett, II

Kenneth "Kenny" L. Garrett, II 61, went to his heavenly home, Tuesday, October 31, 2017, after a long and courageous battle with Parkinsons disease. Kenny was born December 8, 1955, in Wichita, Kansas, to Kenneth and Patricia Garrett. After graduating from Derby High School in 1973, he obtained an Associates Degree in graphic design from WSU. He married Carol Wuerflein on May 26, 1990 in Enid, Oklahoma. Kenny was preceded in death by his father and grandparents. He is survived by his wife, mother, cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family, 6-8 p.m., Thursday, November 2, Downing & Lahey Mortuary West. Funeral service, 11 a.m., Friday, November 3, Risen Savior Lutheran Church, 6770 E. 34th St. N. in Wichita. Graveside service, will follow at 2 p.m., in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinsons Research, P.O.
