Guestbook

  1. Dear Family of Uncle Kenneth, I wanted to send you my warmest thoughts for you as you celebrate the life of my dear Uncle Kenneth and your beloved father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. I will miss Uncle Kenneth. There isn’t a time in my life that he wasn’t around. One of my favorite memories is pretty recent. When my Grandpa (Loyd) was near the end and we were in Kansas visiting from California, we sat around the Nursing home all cramped in Grandpa’s room. It was Grandpa, Uncle Kenneth, my dad (Earl), my husband (Paul) and our three children (Ellen, Duncan and Claire). Uncle Kenneth had just lost Flossie and we were so glad to see him that day. We sat in that room and listened to these brothers – life long friends – talk about several of their hijinks as kids one in particular about riding around in the middle of the night shooting crows out of the trees. We were laughing so hard most of us were crying. My three children still bring up that day. I will treasure it in my heart forever. But that is only one instance of the love I have for Uncle Kenneth. I truly appreciate the man, the kind and gentle being. How lucky I am that two school girls named Nita and Mae got their wish and married brothers. All of our lives are richer because of them. What a blessing to have Uncle Kenneth. My hearts and thoughts are with you today and always. Love, Nancy
