Thompson, Kermit H., 92, retired State Farm Insurance Agent, died Thursday, September 13, 2007. Visitation with the family 7:00 ~ 8:00 P.M., Monday, September 17, Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Service 10:00 A.M., Tuesday September 18, Eastminster Presbyterian Church. Preceded in death by wife, Anna Ilene (Christ) Thompson. Survivors: son, Gary (Jan) Thompson of Wichita; daughters, Sharon (Les) Withrow and Janice (Bob) Jones, all of Wichita; grandchildren, Tracie (Darin) Huff, Kellie (Dustin) Washburn, Jamie (Bruce) Clark, Deb (Chris) Bates, David (Barbara) Withrow, Doug (Marianne) Jones, Kimberly (Andy) Davis and Christine (Dan) Benton; 13 great-grandchildren. Memorials have been established with the Kansas Humane Society, 4218 SE Blvd, Wichita, KS, 67210 and Eastminster Presbyterian Church, 1958 N. Webb Rd., Wichita, KS, 67206.

Dear Thompson Family: I am sure you all know how special Kermit was to me. He was truly blessed to have children that cared so much and spent so much time with him. I became acquainted with Mr. Thompson at Sedgwick Plaza where he shared a table with my dad, Reuel Dickeson. He was a kind and courteous gentleman. Please accept my deepest sympathy.
