Guestbook

  1. Mr. & Mrs. Spangler, So sorry to learn of Kirby’s passing. Kirby and I were friends in grade school and spent many hours at your home and he in ours. He was a great kid and I always enjoyed playing with him. I was very sad when you moved away. Sadly I lost track of Kirby, but remembered him often when visiting Concordia and going past your home or especially this year as we planned our 30th class reunion and many of spent hours reminiscing our friends growing up. I’m pleased to see he was able to pursue flying. We spent many hours ‘playing pilots’ and I know he loved to fly with his dad. My prayers are with you and Kirby’s family during these times. May the peace of the Lord provide comfort during this time of loss. Sincerely, Eric Erickson

  2. Mr. and Mrs. Spangler, So sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayer. John McConnell CHS class of 1973

  3. Tammy&Courtney, Just want you to know I always had a wonderful respect for ‘Kirby’ my son-in-law. I always knew I could count on him to give me good, and sound advice. Even though he was a very smart man he could visit and relate to almost anyone. I never could mention his name to anyone that had used him as there pilot that did’nt say They trusted him to get them where they needed or wanted to go,and he could get them there safely. As a husband to my daughter he made sure he took care of you and loved you. As a father to courtney he was a proud dad to you, he thought you were the ‘best kid’. We will miss his smile and will think of him always. He now is walking around with no pain and probably is trying to tell god about flying..LOL

  4. Kirby and his family were great customers and friends of our company. We’ve enjoyed many years of association with Kirby. In all of my interactions and dealings with him, he was a man of integrety and honesty, and was considered a friend to us. All of us here will miss him. To Tammy, Courtney and the rest of the Family, my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

  5. Dearest Tammy and Courtney: Having only known Kirby for about a year, he became a focal point for me. He was one of the most knowledgable Pilots I have known, and what a gentle-man(!). He was very well known and highly respected in this very closeknit industry, every time his name came up, there was alway’s a smile and a complimentry comment, always! Kirby told me how blessed he was, knowing JESUS, and the love of his ‘precious’ family, his ‘boss’, Ron Ryan, whom he loved and respected so much! Kirby saw and did so many things, few men have seen the ‘upclose’ views of Heaven like he has, now he’s HOME..

  6. Growing up, I always thought of Kirby as my ‘rock star’ cousin – with his cool cars and exciting career – he was a little like Bo Duke and a little like James Bond. Tammy and Court, we are all so proud of your family. Prayers and good thoughts are headed your way from all corners of the USA.

  7. Tammy & Courtney, I am so sorry for your loss. Kirby will be missed by so many. He was a smart man and could do about anything he set his mind to. We know he is walking with the angels. He loved his family and he knew you loved him. My arms are wrapped around you at this difficult time. God will carry you in the days ahead. Love you. Aunt Sandy

  8. Tammy & Courtney & family – I am thinking of you and praying for God’s strength and love to surround you at this time. Kirby was a wonderful guy. He was a great pilot. He was a good friend to me. I know you will all miss him very much. God bless you.

  9. Wayne and Jane so sorry for your loss. No words can ever take the pain away. I remember the days Jane when you worked with Aunt Dot.

  10. Courtney, I am so sorry for your loss. Your dad was a great man – I remember your stories of him during our golf days! I know there’s nothing that can be said to make this easier, but know that my thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time. I’m sorry I couldn’t make it on Saturday. Love, Allison
