Survived by wife, Jackie; parents, Mary Ellen (Dan) Wright of Wichita, Ivan Salyer Jr., of Puyallup, WA; grandmother, Joyce Salyer of Sun City Center, FL; brothers, Paul Salyer of K.C. KS, Scott (Sarah) Salyer of Dallas, TX and Wesley Salyer of Puyallup, WA; sister, Angela Salyer of Puyallup, WA; 2 nieces and 1 nephew. I was so very saddened to hear of Kurt’s passing. Although it has many, many years since I’ve seen him and I hardly recognize him in the picture, I have so many fond memories of him as a child. It seems like yesterday this cute little shirtless boy with his two front teeth missing and the spunkiest personality was running around the house terrorizing us. It was a joy to know him for the time I did. I am so, so sorry for your loss. All my thoughts and prayers are with you. Sarah Bruggeman Scholder

All of our thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time. Please pass on to Joyce especially – the Onkens from McPherson and Wichita and Jim Salyer from Lawrence. Dad wasn’t up to making the service with Mom’s passing (Patsy Salyer), and Jim Salyer is still down with the loss of JoAnn in October. Again, prayers are with the entire Salyer clan.
