Kurt Alan Bauer, 58, Cessna Aircraft Company engineer, and an avid K-State fan (particularly a K-State Football fan), passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021. Private family services. Kurt was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Bauer. Survivors: sons, Nicholas and Ryan Bauer; father, Kent (Sharon) Bauer; brother, Kris (Sarah) Bauer; sister, Katrina (Andrew) VonBevern. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Down Syndrome Society of Wichita, 9415 E. Harry St., #405, Wichita, KS 67207. Downing & Lahey Mortuary West.

Kurt was a great friend and colleague. I will miss him. My condolences to Nick, Ryan, and family.
I agree with Shane’s post, Kurt was also friend and colleague, from our Dillon’s and Boeing days. I will miss talking cars as we did in the past when crossing paths on occasion. My sincere condolences to his family.
So remember all the times at Grandpa and Grandma Green’s spending cousin time together and playing monopoly for a week at a time. Rest in peace and give your mother a huge hug. My your family find comfort at this time and rejoice in all the good memories. Love. Shelly
