Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
I was a student of Dr. Soschinske’s. He was always patient and eager to help those in his classes. I wish his family all the best at this difficult time.
Dear Amy, I’m so sorry to hear about your loss, and I want you to know that you will be in my prayers.
I had the honor and privilege to know Kurt and to work with him in 2005 and 2006 on a project to connect engineering design students here in Wichita with their counterparts in Moscow, Russia so they could improve their understanding of each others cultures and work together successfully. Kurt was committed to preparing his students for an increasingly interconnected, interdependent and diverse world. His dedication made an important difference in the life of many engineering students and graduates. Kurt was a true Global Scholar and an inspiration to us all. His many friends and colleagues at Wichita State will sorely miss him and our thoughts are with Amy, John and his family.
Kurt was a very kind and caring person. He worked at Boeing with my brother. We n turn became friends, and when I came to town we would go see a movie. He would tell me about his parents and sister. I was born in Milwaukee, WI, so I was interested in listening to his life in WI. Kurt was friends with everyone, there was not a person who ever met him that would not like him. He never complained about things at all. He will truly be missed by all, My condolences goes out to his wife and son, and his family in WI. You are in my prayers. Linda Burchfield Davis
I will miss Kurt as my pseudo-older brother…but I will think of Dallas, Ft Worth, Seattle, cruises (espec. a raggedy man who took just Kurt and I on a little boat to Paradise Isle in Bahamas), Riverfests, Cen. Community Church singles, and country and swing dancing…Also all the country concerts we did, espec. when he took me to two Vince Gill concerts @ the old Crest Theatre where Vince talked to us from the stage…we shared so many good times…I will remember those times forever…His legacy will be Amy and little Jack…
