Dear Dee, James, Bob. David & Andrew, Our sincere sympathy on the loss of your beautiful Mother. My name is Esther Leyendecker Stewart from Laredo. Your Mom was my 1st cousin. I am the daughter of Edward Leyendecker, brother to your Gradmother, Lamar. I had 4 brothers..Edward Jr.(Wayo), Justo, Art & Philip. Art is my only living brother and he lives in San Antonio. Wayo & I both talked to your Mom about 3 or 4 years ago & Bill & I visited with Patsy on one of our trips to his hometown in Bartow,Florida. I remember your Mom’s nickname was ‘Tite’ & so wss mine. When we were young they called me ‘Little Tite’. I wonder if you knew that?? Your Mom married & moved away when I was young & I never saw her again. I tried to call her when we would drive through Houston on our way to Savannah, but I was never lucky enough to catch her @ home. Bill was an AF pilot & we were stationed in Savannah for 5 years.
