Lana Lee Nordyke

Nordyke, Lana Lee, October 1941 - June 10, 2015, passed away peacefully at her home in Wichita, Kansas. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M., Sunday, June 14, 2015, at Downing Lahey East Mortuary. Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life which will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, June 15, 2015, at Eastminster Presbyterian Church. She was one of three children born to the late John and Beatrice Gibson and was the beloved wife of Howard Nordyke for over 56 years. Lana will forever be remembered by her beloved children, Mark (Linda) Nordyke, Belinda (Les) Payne, Linda (Mehdi) Charmchizadeh; treasured grandchildren, Megan Frieze, Amanda Lygrisse, Jared and Cassandra Payne, Jermey Charmchizadeh; 7 great-grandchildren; along with countless friends whom were blessed to know her. Lana loved flowers, going to the movies, tennis, shopping, baseball, photography, and being with her family and friends. Lana touched the lives of many people with her smile, spicy attitude, and generous heart. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with the Salvation Army, 350 N. Market, Wichita, KS 67202.
