Larry Dean Van Sike

Van Sike, Larry Dean, age 70, only child of Milo and Willmetta (New) Van Scyoc who preceded him in death, was born June 19, 1944 and died Friday, September 19, 2014. He was a Russell High graduate, a Fort Hays State College two year student, and a retired 42 year Beechcrafter. He is survived by his wife, Diane, of the home and two daughters, Lori Campbell and fianc, Jason Kuhn, of Wichita, and Sara Graves and husband, Austin, of Andover. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Caleb, Ellie, Jackson and Emma. Visitation with the family will be from 5:30 - 7:30 P.M., Tuesday, September 23, 2014; Memorial Service will be at 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 24, 2014, both at Downing Lahey East Mortuary. His choice for eternity is cremation after viewing. Inurnment will be in the Russell City Cemetery. A memorial has been established with the Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219.
