Kay & Family, I want you to know what a priviledge it was to take care of Dr. Owen. He was such a kind and sincere gentleman. He always had a smile even if his day was going rough. You are all in my prayers. He will be missed.
I have been a Crna for 30 years now–he was one of my most respected teachers. He taught me to give 110% He represented what was great in anesthesia. I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you and your families.
LaRue was someone I first met at a Fiber Directions exhibit that included Irene’s weavings and later at some of his own photographic exhibits. LaRue was especially proud of a photo he took of Queen Elizabeth in Vancouver, British Columbia, I believe it was. He just happened to see her and took the opportunity to get a prized picture. LaRue was the consummate gentleman and Irene his lady. My condolences to the family on his passing.
Deepest Sympathy to the family of Dr. Owen. I worked as a secretary in his office from 1966 to 1979. He was a very kind person. I remember taking dictation with his beloved Jacque by his side. I also remember that he had the most beautiful handwriting for a man or doctor that I have ever seen. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
I was one of Dr. Owen’s first anesthesia students. He was a wonderful teacher and an outstanding anesthesiologist. He was my mentor. Dr. Owen was a kind and loving person as well.
Rodney and family Our deepest sympathy goes out to you and your the family in your time of need. Regards, East High Class of 1962
