Laura E. Williams

Williams, Laura Elaine, May 28, 1926 - August 25, 2012. Laura is going home to join her family relatives that have passed before her her Heavenly Father. Laura was the last surviving member of her family of 11 children. (Sisters; Nellie, Edna, Jennie, Cleta Brothers; Ben, Curtis, George, David, Jake Tony. Born in Parkerville, KS to Frederick and Lulu Stone, she married Alvin Williams. They had 5 children. Preceded in death by her husband Alvin son Phil, shes survived by the following children their families: Doug Shari, Randy Peggy, Christy (Phils wife), Rod Cathy Jeff. She loved her grandchildren; Bradley, Destiny, Melinda, Belinda, Jason, Jeremy, Lyndsie, Mark, Joshua, Matthew, Casi. Her great-grandchildren were very special to her and she loved them all. She was a loving and devoted mother, she never lost faith and always thought of others first. She was loved and respected by all who knew her. She will be sadly missed by family and friends, including Brenda McArthur (mother of Jason, Jeremy, Eric). Services at Downing Lahey Chapel East in Wichita KS, at 10am on Friday August 31, 2012. Graveside services to follow at 2:00 pm in Parkerville Cemetery. Downing Lahey Mortuary East.
