Barnes, LaVaughn, 94, died Thursday, March 20, 2014. Memorial Service will be at 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 24, 2014, at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Preceded in death by her husband, Roy Barnes. Survived by her son, Craig Barnes of Wichita, KS; daughter, Corinne Little of Evanston, IL; grandchildren, Tiffani, Royce, Lindsay and Brett Wingert; 5 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Mid=Kansas Affiliate, P.O. Box 780294, Wichita, KS 67278.
