Lee Roy Keener, 72, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021. No services. Lee Roy was a retired grocery store manager, loved softball, and people. In 1966 he proudly graduated as his class president from Mullinville (Kansas) High School. Preceding Lee Roy in death were his parents, Virginia and Glenn Keener, and brothers, John and Gary Keener. Survivors: wife, Judy; daughter, Shonda (Ken) Kooser of Derby; son, Robert (Katie) Keener of Abilene; brothers, James Keener of Wichita and Jay Keener of Andover; sister-in-law, Shirley Keener of Satanta; grandchildren, Erin, Allison and Rebecca Kooser, Robbie, Thomas and Josie Keener, along with lots and lots of friends and family. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Good Shepherd Hospice, 7829 E. Rockhill St., #403, Wichita, KS 67206. Downing & Lahey Mortuary West.
