Leonard E. “Len” Fennewald, 77, permanent Deacon and Chaplain for the Diocese of Wichita, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2016. Rosary, 6 p.m., Friday, July 8; Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 9, both at Christ the King Catholic Church. Preceded in death by parents, Clarence and Marcella Fennewald. Survivors: wife, Martha; sons, David (Kim) of Mulvane, Steve (Cindy) of Surrey, ND, Brian (Hope) of Richlands, VA; daughters, Renae Perry (Rick Brandvold) of Fargo, ND, Rhonda Cornell (Scott) of Wrightwood, CA; brothers, Donald of Bismarck, ND and Paul (Paulette) of Chesterfield, VA; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Christ the King Catholic Church, 4411 W. Maple, Wichita, KS 67209. Downing & Lahey Mortuary West.
