Charleen was a wonderful woman. Just a week ago I was thinking about a wonderful lunch she made for me and Sally in her home. It included the absolute best hot ham and cheese sandwich I had ever tasted. Not sure what she did to make them so special but they were!!. She also raised one of the finest individuals I know, Sally. Love and prayers in your loss to Ed, David, and Sally Kim Parker
I met Charleen through her daughter, Sally, when I was a Freshman in college. I have lots of fond memories of time spent in Charleen and Ed’s home and wonderful meals at Charleen’s dinner table! I am so happy that I was able to see Charleen when I was in Wichita in January. She greeted me in her home with a huge smile and a warm and lingering hug. She will always have a special place in my heart and memory. — Love, Julie King Gomez
Saddened by the death of my friend and next door neighbor for over five decades. Memories of over the fence chats about our back yard birds and our flowers will be the cherished memories of my friend. My love and sympathy to Ed and family. Marlene Hayes
