Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Linda was my husbands cousin. We all went to high school together and Linda was such a sweet person, always friendly and helped whenever or whoever she could. Linda, fondly remember to her friends as ‘Cookie’, will be missed by one and all. She leaves this earth a better place for being here. She will be remembered sweetly.

  2. As a long time member of Emporia Presbyterian Church, I got to know Linda pretty well. Over the past several years, I would stop by the church office weekly to update the materials in the children’s worship bags, and Linda would always take time to visit with me. I missed seeing her each week after she moved to Wichita in May. I was saddened to hear the news of her passing, but am thankful that her fight is over and she is at peace. I so wanted to be able to attend her funeral, but my family has to be out of town this weekend. I’m keeping all of you in my prayers at this sad time.

  3. Linda was a very special person who touched so many lives in so many different ways. She and I, as Administrative Assistants, shared dealing with Sunday bulletins and monthly newsletters. We shared laughter, tears, frustration. My husband, Rowan, and I even shared the same pew with Linda on Sunday mornings. She will be remembered for her love of life, caring, compassion, friendships and family. May God keep all of you in his loving care. Know that his arms hold Linda and keep all of you near as well.
