70, Retired High School teacher, died Tuesday, December 8, 2020. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am, Thursday, December 17, 2020, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. Service will be live streamed and available to view by clicking "Watch Event" below. Preceded in death by her parents, Roman and Betty Breitenbach; sister, Jean Breitenbach. Survived by her husband, Don Wineke; daughter, Rachel Wineke of Denver, CO; sisters, Mari Gutschenritter, Mona Pelz, Kimberly Hamilton, Kathy Robertson, all of Wichita, KS; brothers, Kurt Breitenbach of Wichita, Kenny Breitenbach of Baton Rouge, LA. So sorry for the loss of Linda. I taught with her at Andale High School.. Prayers for Linda and the family.
Linda and I shared the same birthday. This time of year I remember spending New Year’s Eve with the Breitenbach girls and friends in 1967. Our thoughts and prayers with the family during your time of loss and sorrow.
So very very sorry to hear of your loss of Linda. I never had the chance to meet her, but always heard wonderful things about her. I know how very much you will all miss her. This is an extremely hard time to lose someone you love and so my heart goes out to you. The service was beautiful! Please know that you will all be in my thoughts and prayers.
