Lloyd J. Wilbert

Lloyd J. Wilbert, 88, loving husband and father, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016. Rosary, 7 p.m., Tuesday, March 29; Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 30, both at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 861 N. Socora in Wichita. Lloyd retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone and was a World War II veteran who was active in Telephone Pioneers, Knights of Columbus #4118 and Talking Books for the Blind. He loved spending time with his family, golfing, bowling and playing cards. Preceding him in death were parents, Albert and Alice Wilbert; 3 sisters and 4 brothers. Survivors: his wife of 66 years, Donna; children, Warren (Judy), Kenny (Jeannie), Judy Lawson (Kent), Paula Espinoza (Tony), Brian (Tara); brothers, Calvin of Derby, John of Shawnee; 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
