Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
I met Lloyd in 1979 when I came to Wichita to assume the chairmanship of Biology. Over the years I have come to know Lloyd as a gentle and humane supporter of the academic endeavor. He strongly supported acdemic research and scholarship, even when it was a bit chancey. On the other side, he expected and congratulated excellence. While academia was eroding around him, he stood for excellence and kindness. He is a very special person, and I appreciate being counted among his acquaintences. My most heartfelt sympathy to you. I know that he is in a better place.
Sincere condolences to the family of Lloyd from several Alunus of Canton High School. Wesley Kimball
