Lora Heatley Thomas

Thomas, Lora Heatley a retired employee of Boeing, was born September 21, 1935 near Lexington, Oklahoma, and died October 17, 2017 in Wichita, Kansas. Visitation with the family, 5-7 p.m., Friday, October 20; Funeral Service, 1:30 p.m., Saturday, October 21, both at Downing & Lahey Mortuary West. She was preceded in death by her father, John Wesley Heatley II; her mother, Gladys Mary Carter Heatley Hanna; half-sister, Mattie Lee Heatley Farrell; half-brother, John Wesley Heatley III; sister, Virginia Mae Heatley Cash; brothers, Doyle Eugene Heatley and Leon Wayne Heatley; and two grandsons, Jonathan Fettke and Daniel Stoddard. She is survived by her husband, Harold Dana Thomas; daughters, Angelia Thomas and Darlene (Melvin) Stoddard; four grandchildren, Brian Robert Fettke, Sarah Fettke, Thomas Eugene Stoddard and Rebekah Stoddard; two great-grandchildren, Adrian Roberts and Annabelle Johnson; three sisters, Valeta Ruth Frejo, Iris Ann Bailey and Martha Sue (John) Cartwright; and many nieces and nephews.
