Lorene M. Mongeau, 93, retired registered nurse for Wichita Pediatric Associates, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2014. Lorene was a member of All Saints Catholic Church and the Air Capital Rose Society. Memorial Service, Thursday, January 30, 7 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 7:30 p.m., Wichita Presbyterian Manor. Visitation, Friday, January 31, 6:30 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 7:30 p.m., Hays Memorial Chapel, Hays, KS. Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, February 1, 10:30 a.m., Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Plainville, KS. Burial will follow in Zurich Catholic Cemetery, Zurich, KS. Preceded by parents, Phil and Nelda (Thyfault) Mongeau; siblings, Alma, Levi, Robert and James Mongeau; longtime friend, Dr. Katherine Pennington, and brother-in-law, Joe Myers. Survivors: sisters, Mona Hamel (Jasper) of Hays, Delores Myers, and sister-in-law, Grace Mongeau, both of Plainville; 8 nieces and 7 nephews; many great-nieces and great-nephews.
