Lori Reedy, 62, Cowley County Appraiser, died Tuesday, October 1, 2024. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary, followed by a potluck reception at Harrison Park. Preceded in death by her parents, Byrd Davis and Patricia Martin. Survived by her daughters, Bailey (Jordan Hudson) Lamer of Hutchinson, KS, Chelsea (Rob) Eastman of Spokane, WA; brother, Ronnie Davis; sister, Denise (Carroll) Middleton; granddaughters, Rhylee Hudson, Charlotte Eastman; grandson, James Eastman; dog, Armani "Teddy" Treadmill; cat, Precious. A memorial has been established with Victory in the Valley, 3755 E. Douglas, Wichita, KS 67218.

Chelsea and Baily, I’m so sorry about the passing of your mom. I really enjoyed working for her in the Appraisers Office. She was a lot of fun. Really, crazy fun. She spoke of you girls with love and humor. She will definitely be missed by all. Christina Todd

Your Mom is an amazing woman and so much fun and happy. I worked with her when she was at Sedgwick county. We were friends and I remember you girls fondly from that time. She was a great mother and friend. I will miss her and keep you girls in my prayers. Sorry about the loss of your momma.
Lori was the best manager I had ever had! She demanded respect from the highest position to the lowest and she stood by us all. She taught me how to bring an office together and work toward a common goal. She was awesome! A wonderful person and a person who knew how to make a department work together. I will always follow her lead.
Bailey and Chelsea- I just saw Lori’s obituary and was so shocked to see she had passed. I always liked your mom. I saw her last May at the Celebration of Life for my brother, Calvin Reedy. So sorry for your loss.
