Willcut, Lowell E. Jr. “J.R.”, 82, Large Truck Salesman for over 58 years. Passed away peacefully in his sleep Saturday, May 9, 2015. JR was born May 15, 1932 in Great Bend, Kansas to Lowell E. Willcut and Elizabeth Willcut. He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War. Preceded in death by brother, Warren Willcut; sister, Alice Willcut. Survived by wife, Sue Ann Willcut, of Wichita, KS; sons, Kemper Willcut (longtime partner LouAnn Jacobs), of Inverness, FL, and Kirt Willcut (Lisa), of Wichita; brother, Lloyd Willcut, of Woodward, OK; grandchild, Kemper Willcut, II (Jessica), of Decatur, IL; great-grandchildren, Griffin, Gwynne, and Gayle, of Decatur, IL, Ethan Morgan, of South Carolina; step-grandchildren, Samantha Hageberg, of Harper, KS, Nicklaus Frazee, of Wellington, KS; nieces, Lorie Ford, of Vancouver, British Columbia, and Julie Ray (Stan), of Stillwater, OK. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, May 14 at 1:00 P.M. at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Kansas Honor Flight, P.O. Box 2371, Hutchinson, KS 67504.
