Lucille OBryan

Lucille OBryan, 95, a resident of Wichita, formerly of Liberal, peacefully passed away Sunday March 26, 2017. She was born Oct. 14, 1921 in Pratt City, AL to the late Marcus and Nellie Ellis. She served her country during WWII as a Navy Wave until discharged in 1946 and was a 60-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was an avid seamstress and gardener, and was happiest when in the company of the children in her life. She was married to the late Perry M OBryan for 63 years until his death in 2009. She is survived by her son, Patrick M OBryan of Wichita; daughter, Susan Freeze of Exmore, VA; her 4 grandchildren, Phillip OBryan, Kelly OBryan, Kyle OBryan, and Brian Diedrich; and 6 great-grandchildren. A private family graveside service will be scheduled at a later date. Downing & Lahey West Mortuary.
